Connecticut get the win over Seattle 75-70

Tina Charles propelled her team over Seattle with her stats. She used all her strengths and hid all her weaknesses. She showed up first thing and didn’t turn herself off until the last buzzer rang. Seattle didn’t roll over and die in this game, but Tina didn’t let them come back for the win. She has been playing like a Star this entire season. In almost all of the Sun’s wins, she has been the leading scorer and rebounder. She fights for her team and her work seems to pay off in the final quarters. In this game, her performance was up to par with the rest. She scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished 4 assists in this victory over Seattle.

Renee Montgomery was another help in this game. She has been on every game to the best of her ability. Sun keep winning because of this RT team. Renee is a force that you don’t wanna wreck with. She’s a seasoned player and I love he style of play. She comes out playing like their leading by 7 all ready. She doesn’t have the mentality that says, “we’re up 2-0”. Her mentality is “we have the lead and we are not gonna relinquish it.” She’s such a special player and she fits perfect with the Sun. She scored 11 points, dished 8 rebounds and grabbed 2 assists.

Swin Cash took a huge step up in this game. Seattle is still playing without Lauren Jackson but with her performance, you almost didn’t even need her. Swin Cash did everything she could in this game but time wasn’t on the Seattle team’s side. She was the main person to look for because she was hot all game. She was a bulldozer on the offensive end but she was no slouch on the defensive end either. Her UConn colors showed and she balled hard! She scored a whopping 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 2 assists. She wanted this game, but it slipped away.
