Douglas and Catchings lead Fever past Chicago, 83-72

The Fever are #2 in their conference and Douglas and Catchings are the reason why. These two players seem to be thirst for a championship after being denied in the last few years. The Fever team seems to be hungry to because they’ve been putting up great efforts as well.

Catchings dominated several categories in this game. She was the leading scorer and had the most assists and steals. Catchings shared the rock and accumulated her 22 points over the entire game. She scored when she needed to and gave the ball up with there was an opportunity. Douglas, too, had a great game scoring 21 points. She’s been playing the best ball she has played in a while. Zellous and Davenport also pitched in to insure the win. Davenport had 12 points and Zellous had 9 points but grabbed 7 rebounds.

Chicago couldn’t get it all together. Sylvia Fowles played as she usually did scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. If everyone played like her, the Sky would have won the game. Epiphany Prince had 17 in the game and also 4 rebounds. The Sky didn’t have the energy that the Fever brought. Chicago had many more Turnovers than the Fever did. Overall, the Sky lacked the ability to beat this team who is hot right now.
