Becky Hammon had a spectacular game and lead her team to a victory. Hammon once again had a huge scoring game, this game she scored 30 points. The great thing was she was at the SG position. Danielle Robinson did an excellent job at the PG dishing out 11 assists. This change up might actually help their team. Hammon and Robinson vibed well with this change of position. Sophia Young had a good game last night as well. She scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jayne Appel added 11 rebounds on the defensive end as well as 7 points. Jia Perkins came off the bench adding 12 points and 5 rebounds to the team total. Overall the team played well.

For the Mercury to be without Diana Taurasi, the played very well. DeWanna Bonner and Candice Dupree were great on the defensive end. Bonner had 9 rebounds and Dupree had 10. Overall the team had 39 rebounds which was more than the Stars. Dupree and Bonner have both played better games and maybe they should’ve in this game. Prahalis was 1 assist away from a double-double. She scored11 points. Charde Houston and Nakia Sanford both added 7.
