The Sparks beat Seattle again thanks to Nneka Ogwumike! She went through the lane to hit the game winning layup! Ogwumike had only 10 points in the game but she made her last 2 count big time. She also helped her team by adding 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Kristi Toliver had another great game scoring 23 points. She is an excellent player and she showed it again last night. She led the team in assists with 7 and had 5 rebounds. Player of the Month Candace Parker picked up another double-double. She scored 16 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and had 3 blocks.
Katie Smith led the Seattle Storm but in the end the Storm couldn’t pull it out. Smith scored 19 points and they were all at crucial times. Sue Bird scored 12 in this game and also had 6 assists. Ann Wauters didn’t score much but she did have 7 defensive rebounds in the game. Every Storm player scored but in the end, the Sparks upset them.
