Connecticut surges past Indiana, 89-81

Kara Lawson lead her team to victory in this game! She was a huge factor in the win and the Fever were shocked. Kara Lawson had scored a team high 18 points. She came out playing like a smart veteran and her team followed behind her. When I say the team, I mean the team. Almost everyone on the team scored. Lawson controlled the game in the driver sea. Usually she plays a smaller role, but in this game she led her team to victory.

7 players on the Suns team scored in double digits so Lawson doesn’t deserve all the credit. Asjha Jones, Tina Charles and Mistie Mims all scored 12 points. Charles let her team get involved in this game and it proved to help immensely. Jones has also been big factors in other games and she was a factor in this game as well. She had a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The entire Sun team played great and they deserved the win.

The Fever couldn’t combat this team this time. Yes, most everyone on the Fever team scored, but most of them didn’t score 4 points. They didn’t contribute as much as the Sun bench. Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas once again led their team in points and Catchings  led the team in rebounds. Catchings scored 31 and Douglas scored 23. These two players played excellent but on the wire their team couldn’t perform.
