Mystics top Fever in a thriller, 67-66

Obviously both teams played extremely well because the game was close but the Mystics had the last say in this game. The Mystics shocked the Fever and they gave their home team a great show. The Fever, in the end, tried to surge back but Tamika Catchings couldn’t get the win off her 3 pointer.

Cystal Langhorne led her team to the win scoring 22 points. Matee Ajavon also helped her team by scoring 15 points off the bench. These 2 players did everything they could to help their team win and it paid off. Ajavon hit a couple huge 3s in the game to keep her team rallying for victory. Langhorne and Michelle Snow did an excellent rebounding job in this game. Both of them had several defensive rebounds which kept the ball away from the Fever and stopped them from scoring 2nd chance buckets.

Tamika Catchings, Tammy Sutton-Brown, and Briann January scored the most for their team but it didn’t prove to be enough. Katie Douglas wasn’t too involved in this game but if she had, her team would have been victorious. The Fever have played much better and they just slipped in this game. The Fever trailed the Mystics in many stats and it proved to be an off game for them.
