Connecticut tops Atlanta, 75-73

Connecticut wins another game and this they top Atlanta. Charles once again led her team to a victory but she was helped by Rene Montgomery. Charles scored a game high 23 points but her best stat was the fact she had 22 rebounds. She had 16 rebounds on the defensive end because the Dream couldn’t stop her. They don’t have any good post that could stop in her in the paint or on the rebounds. The Dream failed miserably in that sector.

Renee Montgomery and Kara Lawson were the strong points of the guard but even with these two, Charles stole the show. The Dream have better guards than posts so the Guard had a little more resistance. Even though they were matched up against good guards, they still combined to score 30 points.

Without Angel McCoughtry, Armintie Price was the leading scorer with 20 and she also led her team 6 assist. Tip Hayes was great in this game too. She scored 11 points and led her team with 5 steals. All around, the Dream played as good as the Sun but at the end, Lyttle couldn’t connect to send it to OT.
