Sparks blow out Mystics,101-70

Nneka Ogqumike played like Candace Parker last night! This is one more game in which she led her team in scoring. Last night, she had a game high of 24 points. She was close to having a double-double with 7 rebounds. She was excellent in this game. Ogwumike made almost every shot that left her hands. She only missed 4 shots in that game, from the line and from the field. She shot 78% in this game. Not only did she shoot good but had 4 steals on the defensive end as well.

Delisha Milton-Jones, Candace Parker, Alana Beard, Jantel Lavender and Kristi Toliver all scored in double-digits last night. You can’t ignore how well the team played. Overall, they out played the Mystics. The Sparks relied on one player, and that player was team. Yes Ogwumike scored 24 points, but she didn’t put her team on her back and carry them. Her team was right there with her.

The Mystics good for their team but it definitely wasn’t enough to beat this all-star team. Michelle Snow led her team with 15 points 7 rebounds. Noelle Quinn, Natasha Lacy, and Mo Currie combined to score 33 points. Crystal Langhorne is usually involved in every game but in this game she was off. She took 5 shots and of those only made 1. All her stats were lower than usual and you could see the Mystics missed that huge force.
