Sparks fall to Stars, 91-71

The Stars played great last night! The entire team played very well, from Adams to Young. Speaking of Sophia Young, she led her team to this victory. Throughout the entire game Young shot great, and so did the Stars. She scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Every time she shot, it seemed like the ball fell through the hoop. She was guarded by everyone on the court and she seemed to run by everyone or she would dish the ball to another teammate.

Becky Hammon, as stated last night during the game, is a Spark Crush. Every time she plays the Sparks, her stats improve and this game was no different. She scored 12 points and dished 10 assists racking up another double this year. She hit a couple 3 but for the most part she was off. Shameka Christon started the game hot and ended the game hot! She scored 16 points many of them being in the first half. Danielle Robinson was right behind Hammon, scoring 12 points and dishing 7 assists. The entire Stars team played very well against the Sparks.

The Sparks played the day before against Phoenix and you could see they weren’t up for a good fight. The Stars got lucky to catch them on this day. Although the Sparks seem to have impressive stats, the game didn’t look like that. Candace Parker had a double-double and her team still lose. After halftime, the Stars made every bucket while the Sparks were missing many shots. It seemed like every player was off in the game even though their stats were still excellent.
