Lynx fall to Stars, 84-93

Becky Hammon, Sophia Young, and the Silver Stars have been beating good teams lately. Becky Hammon has played at the PG and SG and at both positions she’s been great! She scored 23 points last night to lead both teams in scoring but she also led both teams in assists. Last night, she had 8. Not only did Hammon have a huge but Young did as well. She racked up another double double with 10 rebounds and 22 points. Hammon and Young are a great pair for their team.

Shameka Christon and Jia Perkins are two players that change games but aren’t noticed all the time. Christon last night had 17 points and shot 4-5 form beyond the arc last night. Those 3s were huge team boosters throughout the game. Jia Perkins shot 2-5 last night but her 3s were just as important to to teams overall win. She scored 12 points in this game.

The Lynx, as a whole, didn’t play as they usually did. Seimone Augustus, the Lynx leading scorer, only scored 10 points and she wasn’t the leading scorer for the team. Monica Wright came off the bench leading her team with 18 points. There were 3 other players that scored in double digits but they couldn’t pull of the win. Rebekkah Brunson score 13 and had a double double with 10 rebounds. They played good just not better than the Stars.
