Kristi Toliver and Candace Parker were a huge pair in this game! The only way to exactly see how great they were is to watch the game for yourself. Kristi Toliver is so clutch! Last night she was 100% from behind the arc. You can’t discredit any of her of 3s in this game. She had several back to back 3s and they weren’t inch-away-from-the-line 3s. They were NBA range that and she usually had a hand in her face. 18 of her points were form behind the arc. She scored everywhere else though. She had huge range last night and you can see in those 29 points she scored. Last night she also had 6 assists and 3 rebounds.
Candace Parker and Kristi Toliver had the same shooting percentage in this game. She scored so many points from the line. Parker drives to the basket so often. She had so many &1 points last night. She not only rocked the line but she lit up the scoreboard else where. She was extremely close to having a double double in the first quarter and in the second half she built it. She scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker have the same type of game but sadly Nneka is injured. Ogwumike is a huge factor for the Sparks and you can tell when they are missing her. Last night, she scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. That is good but not good for her.
The Lynx only surged back in the last quarter because the Sparks got lazy. I am not discrediting the Lynx completely because they did play decent in the game. They played better in the last few minutes than the entire game. Seimone Augustus is a great player but she could have played much better last night. She scored only 18 points and only 3 assists. Maya Moore also played below her average. She scored 14 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. She hardly did anything on the defensive end. The Lynx played extremely poor.
