Minnesota beat Tulsa, 107-86

The Lynx beat a beatable team and Candice Wiggins was random factor. She was huge off the bench and led her team with 25 points. She was 6 of 9 from beyond the arc and that’s where a majority of her points came from. She made several huge 3s that helped the Lynx stop the Shock surge. Maya Moore was right there with Wiggins. She scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was 2 of 2 beyond the arch and 8 of 12 from the field. These two were a great combination in this game. Wiggins came in and out for Monica Wright and she really filled the space.

Ivory Latta and Roneeka Hodges were the leaders in this game. They combined to score 39 points. These two guards did great against the defending champs guards. Lindsey Whalen wasn’t a factor for the Shock. The Shock are a quicker and better team when concerning the guards. Although Wiggins scored 20+ points, the other guards didn’t do much of anything. The Shock’s a great defensive team but their defense wasn’t good enough to stop the Lynx.
